PGPTR subscribes to the old proverb that states “it takes a village to raise a child”. As such, we are structured in a way that promotes community involvement by allowing individuals and corporate entities to work in conjunction with us in several different capacities:

 

SPONSORSHIPS:

PGPTR would like to extend the opportunity for local individuals and/or entities to provide sponsorships for any young lady between the ages of 5 and 18 whose family may not possess the financial resources to participate in PGPTR’s basketball skill development course(s).

 

PARTNERSHIPS:

PGPTR seeks to form alliances with other local community organizations who have access to prospective female basketball players between the ages of 5 and 18. PGPTR’s services would serve as a supplement to those of that particular local entity.

PGPTR seeks to form alliances with local entities and/or individuals who are subject matter experts (SME) in the areas related to PGPTR’s 4 foundational pillars of health and wellness, education, career development, and financial literacy.

PGPTR seeks to form alliances with local entities and/or individuals that assist us in carrying out our daily operations related to on-the-court skill development and off-the-court life skills.

 

DONORS:

Individuals and/or entities who believe in PGPTR’s mission and vision but prefer to support the organization in more of a behind-the-scenes role are welcome to make financial contributions to assist PGPTR with funding for its on-the-court skill development and/or off-the-court life skills initiatives.

 

INVESTORS:

PGPTR currently prints its online merchandise products based on demand. PGPTR seeks investors in order to scale this sector of our organization and transition to a drop shipping business model, which would allow us to partner with a local company for advanced printing of our online merchandise, enabling us to streamline our operations and set up a true ecommerce store where we can offer a wide range of products without the responsibility of handling inventory.

It is well-chronicled that investing in women’s sports in their youth and adolescent years creates more opportunities for women to participate in sports at the collegiate level. And when women participate in sports beyond high school, it creates more opportunities for them to secure leadership roles in society. And a diversity in leadership equates to a diversity in voices and ideas and more avenues for success for a broader range of the population.
